The Cow - Yarmouth

Meal for a family of 4 after a visit to Tapnell Farm, staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. Drinks arrived promptly, food not long after. Recommend The Matador burger for me, the chicken wrap my daughter smashed, hotdog demolished by my son, and hubby had the big smoke burger which he enjoyed. Recommend to visit but booking is advisable to get a table no matter what season

2nd visit to The Cow. Delicious food! When our order was eventually taken the food arrived quickly. But general service was slow, we had to ask for a 2nd drink, for more water, for dessert and for the bill. At no point did anyone come to ask if everything was ok, if there was anything else we wanted etc. Lots of waiting staff, but they all looked very young and very tired. But… food was delicious and we would certainly return.

I love our experience with The Cow restaurant., Theres about 20-26 people in our group and only half have manage to book a table but the lady at the reception and the serving girl had accomodatrd us and help us get situated . The food is lovely, my hubby and I shared a roast dinner , because we had late hotel breakfast and our son had the smoke burger, Even though we are not really hungry we just want to try the place as we are going back to Essex that afternoon , a friend of mine highly recommended the place and it doesnt disappoint. I would love to come back whenever i am in the area. Will gladly recommend. ????

As always a great food and service at the cow restaurant today, the only thing that spoiled it for me was the number of dogs in there, in my opinion there shouldn't be any dogs allowed in any restaurants, hygiene is one reason , another reason is there a hazard to the staff when dogs on long leads are allowed to roam around .
