Mint Hobo - Yarm

Today, we happened upon Minze-Hoboo while enjoying a walk. Since we had our dog with us, I decided to order a coffee. The lovely staff informed me that dogs are welcome, so we decided to stay for lunch. The food was delicious, and the coffee was fantastic as well. However, the highlight of our experience was the wonderful staff—they welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back soon!

My weekend wouldn't be complete without a visit to Mint Hobo! The warm welcome we receive makes it feel more like visiting friends than just going to a coffee shop. The coffee is undoubtedly the best in Yarm, and the homemade cakes are always a delight. I highly recommend it to everyone! Keep up the amazing work, team!

We settled in and didn’t have to wait long for our drinks to arrive, followed by our sharing board. Even the plates were warmed up to help our little packets of butter melt and spread easily over the homemade bread. There was an excellent selection of meats, cheeses, and olives. Paired with our gin and tonic while sitting by the window as the city’s Christmas lights began to twinkle, we felt right at home! At one point, the owner came in and took the time to chat with us. He was very friendly and genuinely pleased that we chose to give them a try. We often take advantage of good deals on Groupon, but in this case, we both agreed that if we had paid full price, it would still have been great value for money. I snapped a quick picture, but I don't think it captures the experience fully. If you're a gin or coffee lover looking for a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff, we highly recommend visiting this little gem—you won’t regret it!

The place is simply excellent, best customer service they will find, best coffee they will find, best snacks they will find and if they try a beer, try the lucky buddha beer...sublime keep it local. won’t go where other now
