フィードバックを提供するWow! It has been a few months since we last visited Portofino, as we often gravitate towards restaurants in Southgate. However, that trend is definitely changing! This restaurant has made remarkable improvements in both service and atmosphere. We used to think of Portofino as a place reserved for special occasions, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. There's no dress code, but the extensive wine selection might suggest otherwise! The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of food surpasses that of chain restaurants. The chefs have truly excelled with the new menu, particularly with their seafood and steak specials. We tried the Escolar and Mahi Mahi, and they were absolutely fantastic! I'm eager for the chance to check out the Comedy Room as well. Portofino is reviving the combination of comedy, fine dining, and great prices in Downriver, and we couldn’t be happier about it!
I heard this place might be closing? I really hope they come back. The location is fantastic. It may be a bit dated, but it's no worse than Sibley Gardens. I had a wonderful happy hour there and the quesadilla was delicious.
The Cajun salmon sandwich was disappointing; there wasn’t enough aioli sauce, and the salmon was burnt in some areas while undercooked in others. The wedge salad appeared as if it had been assembled by a child.
