My brother ordered waffles and they were great. They have...great Hummus as well (which is really a scarcity in most of Germany .I ordered the French breakfast which was really tasty. The atmosphere in the old building was great. I will definitely come again : Also they offer half the price of drinks and smaller servings for children up to 12 years.
If you like vintage design and great breakfast this is the place to go. In a tiny backyard this cafe serves all kind of food. From breakfast to lunch. My recommendation is 'Die Fetten Jahre sind vorbei ' and a 'Yogi Tea ' this combi is complitely...vegan. Make sure to try paninis and waffles aswell. They also have bands playing for them.
We go often to this restaurant and we can only recommend it because of the inside area for children. The design of interior and exterior is perfect and original. It's a comfortable experience and the food and service are great. The downside is that it's...always packed with people and the table must be booked in advance, especially on holidays or Sundays. Other than that...5 stars for families. Important: it's not a posh place, I would qualify it as alternative.
My wife I, with another couple, had breakfast at Cafe Wunschlos Glucklich on 15 June. This is a nice outdoor space for breakfast tucked away through a passage way. We all ordered scrambled egg combinations with ham mushroom for the two ladies and...with a spicy chorizo sausage for the men. The servings sizes were ample and the chorizo was quite spicy which I liked. With two coffees and two orange juices the total was only 40 Euro. The lovely young lady that served us was helpful with her excellent English for translating some of the menu items, and she had a bright and cheery attitude.
A hidden cafe/bar/restaurant with a lovely courtyard. Nice food and good service. They have live music in the evenings too.
