Sushi Miyazawa - Worcester

This is the best sushi I've had in the USA. It's hard to find a restaurant that truly feels like a genuine Japanese tavern, but the cozy atmosphere of Miyazawa perfectly encapsulates that experience. While I can't comment on every item on the menu, the dishes I tried were remarkably reminiscent of what I enjoyed in Japan. One thing to keep in mind is that there are only a limited number of tables, so it's a good idea to make a reservation on weekends. The restaurant is BYOB, and they even provide chilled glasses. With the incredibly reasonable sushi prices, you can enjoy a lavish meal without spending too much.

This is genuinely the best sushi I've ever had! If you're a sushi lover, this place is an absolute must-visit! Even if you're used to just ordering California Rolls, you should definitely expand your palate here. The standout dish for us was the Miyabi roll, which I devoured before I could even snap a picture—it was a heavenly experience! I highly recommend it, giving it a solid 10/10. The restaurant is quite small, so making a reservation is advised. We're pretty sure one of the chefs here has cooked for the emperor!

Update: Dine-in is now available, and I highly recommend it. Experiencing the full menu in-house, along with the interactions with the staff and chefs, elevates the whole experience to a whole new level. This place is truly a gem in Worcester—professionally run and absolutely worth a visit!

Would recommend booking because they also appear pretty busy on a Sunday evening. We arrived very early without reservation, but could get the bar seats. The onigiri omakase I got is delicious! Although the university was sold out for single order, I was very excited when she told me she was included in the Grandmakase. Def would come back when I'm back in the area.

Miyazaki has the best sushi (and fish in general) that I’ve had since moving to the Worcester area. The environment is quaint and comfortable, with excellent variety of entrees. The fish was incredibly lean and fresh. Their specialty roll selection has some unique and delicious options. Overall very deserving of 5 stars and I will be returning again to try something new. 10/10 would recommend
