Red Lobster Wooster

The food and service were excellent, but the hostess mentioned that they don't accept open reservations. However, she seated us anyway since the restaurant wasn't busy. I’m confused about why I was able to book a table if they don’t accept reservations.

The service was disappointing. The waitress frequently mentioned that they were only busy during certain times, but it didn’t seem like they were overwhelmed at all. We barely saw her three times in an hour. It took 15 minutes just to get a spicy dip for the baked potato. As for the new lobster dish, it was overcooked to the point that it resembled a potato chip.

Given that it’s a chain restaurant, Red Lobster exceeded my expectations. Considering its location, it stands out as one of the few places nearby where you can enjoy decent, fresh seafood. If I were in a big city like New York or Chicago, where there are numerous upscale dining options, I wouldn’t consider dining at a Red Lobster. However, in Wooster, it serves as a reliable choice.
