John Montagu - Woolloomooloo

Always my favourite hangout place whenever I'm back to Sydney Friendly boss and staff! Love their beef cheeks with a cup of cappuccino.

I first ventured into John Monagu in pursuit of brunch on a particularly dreary morning in Sydney.

Been here multiple times and it's consistently friendly, good service and delicious! The menu may not be big but I want to order everything on it! At the moment my fav is the Mushrooms Part 1 Remastered, with wagyu beef. My partner loves the Tradie (double bacon&egg roll with special sauce). They even put up with my 'black pudding benedict. . . Minus the black pudding!'

Couldn't decide between the salmon classic or the mushrooms remastered or the Wagyu Benedict or the chicken salad or the beef cheek......!! Will need to return very soon. The food.....amazing! Good coffee too.

Five stars for serving an expresso macchiato properly - see photo. Good breakfast menu & very cheery and attentive wait staff. A great find in Sydney.
