Mcalister's Deli - Woodstock

The patient waiter took all five of our orders (three of us weren't vegan, and three were women). My granddaughter and I each ordered water and chose the Veggie Burger from the 9-Garden beer menu and the Pecanberry salad without the grilled chicken. I also added the Veggie Chili to my order. They offered a variety of teas, but since I wanted to avoid caffeine and sugar, I opted for water instead. We all sat together at the table with extra chairs, enjoying our food and sharing laughs. The meals were both delicious and satisfying. The restaurant displayed its regular menu items on the table, while seasonal options were shown on a screen. I was delighted that my vegan granddaughter shared her seasonal Pecanberry salad with me. I appreciated that I could request the salad without the grilled chicken at no extra charge. Given the lack of vegan restaurants in Woodstock, I was happy to find this place with vegan options that allowed us to customize our meals. The restaurant was extremely busy, and I experienced an unexpectedly long wait for my to-go order. It's definitely not ideal for a quick meal during a 30-minute lunch break. However, I must say that the chicken salad was excellent. Food: 5/5.

My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant with less than an hour until closing time. I was worried that the food might not be fresh so close to closing, but I was completely mistaken. Upon entering, we found the restaurant to be very clean and were greeted by some lovely young ladies who were very friendly. They answered our questions, and we placed our orders. Within just 3-4 minutes, our food was served at our table. My wife is gluten-free, and they offered gluten-free bread. She chose the “Pick 2” option, enjoying a half sandwich and half salad combo, while I ordered the Reuben and mac and cheese. Everything came out fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. The food quality was excellent, and the staff was very pleasant. We will definitely be returning!

My coworker and I frequently order from the McAlister's in Woodstock, and we've always been happy with our experience. They've made a few mistakes in our orders, but nothing that would deter us from returning. However, today (July 14, 2023) they included Blueberry Lemon cookies in our cookie tray. I’m not sure if this was a mistake, as we’ve never seen them offered before, but if it was, I hope they consider adding them to the menu! They were absolutely delicious!

There is so much wrong here. The guy making food has a beard that is not in a beard net, the register girl has incredibly long fingernails and used my cup to get the ice instead of an ice scoop. Food safety is definetly not implemented here. They should have a horrible health score.Food: 5/5
