Bub-ba-q - Woodstock

Our experience was disappointing from the start. We couldn't even place our order because the waitress was extremely rude. When I asked her to repeat herself so I could read her lips, she became frustrated because I am deaf. Then, when I requested water without ice, she still brought it with ice. Her attitude was so upsetting that we decided to leave. I would have loved to try the food, but the server's discriminatory behavior was unacceptable.

Overcharged again. Ordered the BBQ chicken wrap and charged $2.00 extra for getting the chicken versus the pork. But yet the menu said either pork or chicken. Good food but just review your bill before paying. Not sure if it was the servers mistake or they just haven't updated the menu to not allow chicken in the wraps. I questioned it and was told chicken was extra.

We went with the family on Wednesday Wing night, and boy do they have good wings. They're smoked first, then fried, then dressed with your choice of sauce or dry rub. The meat easily pulls off the bones, is succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside. Our server was young but extremely polite and attentive. Inside the restaurant is tidy and clean with lots of BBQ competition awards, although it's a bit odd to have the entryway with a guiding wall (like at a counter order restaurant) when it's tableside service. We will definitely be back, as this is our new spot for wings.

Even at 11am on Sunday in the south Bub-Ba-Q delivers !! Today was a two meat combo day, ribs and brisket ... brisket was tender and moist , the ribs feel off the bone and had a rich flavor. The sauce options are many : sweet, hot spicy, mustard and vinegar. As a KC native sweet was my choice this morning and they have a great sweet option !! I also grab some beans and slaw .. the bean are the right kinda bean I like but not enough meat mixed in and this batch a little to much peeper for my liking but still solid .. Slaw was GOOD and I'm not a slaw fan but would defiantly recommend if your a fan to vine or a try ..

The food was OK. The ambiance and over all look and cleanliness of the restaurant was standard of a bbq place. The service started off fine.. but I suppose we caught Kelsey on a bad day when we asked for water after not getting drinks for 20minutes because she was beside herself that we'd expect to be served. The manager Aldo also could use some coaching in the restaurant management industry because he said I had a bad attitude for complaining to him (the manager) about his servers speaking to customers like that. The food is only OK and was easily a zero star for crappy service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
