I also ordered a Banh Mi sandwich to take away and was very disappointed. It lacked the pate and flavor that I've enjoyed at other restaurants. I ended up throwing it away because it was also quite small; you wouldn’t find sandwiches this size in Vietnam or at other good eateries. Overall, I don't plan to return. For an appetizer, we ordered the banh mi. They charged us full price for the vegetarian version, but there were hardly any vegetables, even though the server had noted extra veggies on the ticket (which showed up printed on our bill). The flavors were pretty dull compared to other places I've tried, and the pickling wasn’t very good. My boyfriend had the shrimp and rice dish, and he said it was decent, but you only get four shrimp and a huge pile of rice, making the protein-to-carb ratio pretty unbalanced. On the plus side, Orlando was excellent, especially considering how busy he was in such a small restaurant.
