Lovebug Pizza - Woodland Hills

Small place, very helpful staff, wonderful pizza and very beautiful salads. Many parking places, children loved it, worth the trip, great menu.

Lovebug Pizza is right next to a Starbucks that I frequent, so I chanced on it the day it opened. I have celiac, so I have only tried their gluten-free and grain-free crusts. Gluten free bread is generally disgusting, so my expectations were low. Lovebug's version of gluten-free was a very pleasant surprise: it is actually quite good. We order from Lovebug every couple of weeks and quality has been consistent.

First of all, this pizza is absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I’m hooked on the Paleo Veggie pizza, which fits perfectly with my diet. Last night, I placed a pickup order for a paleo pizza for myself and a pepperoni pizza for my husband and son. Unfortunately, I was informed that they were out of the vegan cheese for my pizza, which really disappointed me. However, I suggested they make it cheeseless, and I’d add my own vegan cheese at home since everything else is so delicious. To my surprise, when my son returned with the pizzas, mine was topped with vegan cheese! One of the staff members had even gone to a local market to buy the same brand they usually use for my pizza. Now that's what I call excellent service! So, if you’re concerned about the prices—yes, the pizzas are on the pricier side—rest assured that you’re getting the best quality for your money!

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and feeling too tired to go out for a meal. We decided to order a pizza, and I’m so glad we did! It was absolutely amazing, delicious, and truly wonderful in every way!
