Spicy Thai Hut - WONGALING BEACH

We always have a great dining experience here. It's a stop we can't miss whenever we're in the area. The Dunk Island prawns are juicy and fresh, just like the vegetables and broth. The duck dishes are tender and are always a favorite of ours.

This is a family-owned restaurant with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The dining tables are set up in their front garden, and you place your orders at the counter. The food is outstanding. I started with the chicken satay, and for my main course, I had the green curry with pork while my wife enjoyed the pad Thai. The chef uses homegrown herbs, which makes a significant difference. My green curry was among the best I've ever tasted. While I can't speak to how it compares to traditional Thai food, it certainly ranks highly among some of the nice restaurants I've visited in the UK.

The staff became friendly by the end of the night, although they initially seemed a bit stressed, likely due to the high volume of customers. The atmosphere in the evening is lovely, enhanced by lights adorning the restaurant. It’s also conveniently located across the street from a beach and a park, perfect for kids to play. There are restrooms and a skate park nearby as well. Overall, it was a great experience. I tried the Udon Noodles, which I initially wouldn't have chosen, but ended up really enjoying!

We had dinner last night at Nana Thai. It was our first time staying in Mission Beach and Nana Thai was on a list of recommended restaurants at our Airbnb. We were lucky to get a table last minute on Saturday night. The food was amazing and on par to our travels to Thailand. Authentic, tasty and we will definitely be back!

Local Lovely family run business I was ordered garlic chilies basil beef and asked the cooker that I need it come out as real Thai taste. And I confirmed here is the best garlic chilies basil I ever had for a while. They got fresh herbs into the dish this is why it come out beautifully
