Caffe Nero Wokingham

Dropped two stars because, staff ask whether you are drinking in or takeaway. Me being honest, I said drinking in and pay for the privilege, but there were a lot of people who clearly paid for a takeaway drink (who have takeaway cups) which is cheaper and sit in to have it. The staff should enforce this, or don't charge different prices to drink in and takeaway!! And FAR too many dogs inside !!

I stopped at this restaurant while exploring the town. The coffee and cakes were delicious. I would definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Efficiently set up to deal with takeaway orders staff wear gloves and the cakes and pastries are behind glass. Staff are friendly, the capucino is excellent and pastries good.

Great place to sit and relax, catch up with friends, some of whom I have made since visiting there. There are a lot of coffee places in Wokingham now, but the coffee here is by far the best as is the friendly staff, the choice of food is good too, the Vegan Salted Caramel Chocolate Cheesecake is very yummy and I'm not vegan! My dog is always very welcome too and gets her own bowl of water. Erika the Manageress does an excellent job of managing the place, as with most places there are sometimes staff changes, which as a regular can be disappointing as they definitely help make the experience one that you want to go back to, however Erika's choice of Barista is good and it doesn't take long to feel at ease with everyone.

Knowledge and friendly staff, an excellent cup of coffee and selection of pastries. If you need to work, there are plenty of tables, plug sockets and free WiFi.
