Backyard Coney Island - Wixom

This is a warm and comforting coney and is probably one of the best coneys in Michigan outside of Detroit! Portions are massive, prices are extremely low (do not know how they earn money) and the atmosphere is perfect. Only a slight downfall is that the staff can be a tad slow, but that should not stop you coming here!

Love this place. We just moved to the area and my fiance and i were walking through the downtown area and stumbled upon this place during the summer events.We have since been there several times!The food is not what you expect from a coney ,It is very high quality-Breakfast is usually garnished with fresh fruit(great presentation).Everything from the silverware to the dinner plates,You normally can expect this from a high end restaurant not a coney It is decorated beautifully.Love the wood floors.It is now our favorite local eatery !

The best. We were visiting from florida and our son took us here for breakfast.I had the best corned beef hash i have ever had,Absolutely amazing.My husband had the spinach and feta omelette,and that too was incredible.Our son goes here all the time with his family and we can see why,Just wish they had something like this in south florida.

Fantastic. We love this place.I had the fish n mac.Must have been the best mac n cheese i`ve had in a long time,The fish was excellent too.My wife had the california burger and she was in love!The kids demand this place at least twice a week and we have never been disappointed.The staff is great- always friendly.And this is the cleanest restaurant in the area,Which is just as important as the food it self! Keep up the great work backyard!

Good food large portions. The food here is great!!!!!! Ive been going there for lunch for a few years now. The omelettes are so big i have to take half home. The reubens are great! I've had reubens from other resturaunts and they put a couple thin slices of processed corned beef. At this place the put many slices of fresh corned beef on the sandwhich. Very Good!!
