The Marketplace Cafe - Wiscasset

Terrific experience at this family owned and operated restaurant! I enjoyed the local farm eggs over-easy with shredded hash browns and thick cut smokey bacon, rounded out with a stack of 3 enormous fresh blueberry pancakes. Staff was super friendly and our order came out quickly for our table of 10!

This was my first time ever wanting to eat pancakes without syrup! They make their pancake batter from scratch, and it's delicious on its own. But when you add blueberries, it becomes truly amazing! The wait staff was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This is your typical hole-in-the-wall diner. From the outside, you would never guess that it has that cozy small diner vibe. The food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The other customers are friendly, too; in fact, the staff knew some of them by name. We absolutely loved our experience. It was our first time in Maine, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you all!

Wow! I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is fantastic—be sure to try the blueberry muffins; they are absolutely outstanding! The prices are quite reasonable, and the establishment is very clean and sanitary. The service is also incredibly friendly!
