The Saughall Pub - WIRRAL

We have been searching for a neighborhood restaurant for a while, and we were extremely impressed by this place. Emma and Dani are putting in a lot of effort to create a friendly and well-respected dining and drinking establishment. We have dined here multiple times, but today's experience truly exceeded our expectations; the roast dinner was exceptional. We highly recommend supporting these wonderful women.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. This was the best roast lunch we have had in a long time.

I went for lunch today for the first and last time. I had to send my meal back because there was a strange, hard black strip under the ham. The server explained that it was a glaze, but they took the dish back, removed the strip, reheated the chips, and returned it to me. I ended up eating alone as my son had already finished his meal by then. The other two diners in the restaurant also complained about their soggy meals. I only gave it one star so I could leave a review.

Oh dear! Used to visit here for a great Sunday carvery now there are new owners apparently. We waited 1 hour, 15 minutes for our order only to be told that they didn’t have the food we ordered. Called it a day at that point! Also, dining area was almost empty. That speaks volumes!

Awfull...waited 1 hour and 10mins for food .had numerous apologies that they were short staffed..we kept watching other customers sending there meals back so eventually we asked for our money back and left......also we were served vodka and tonic in a half pint glass !!!!!!.
