The wait staff is extra friendly and they are patient enough to help with menu selections

This place is a bit run-down and shabby. If you're looking for a strong drink served in a dirty glass at a sticky bar, this is the spot for you. The bathroom feels more like a closet with a wooden floor, a broken sink, and just one towel that everyone shares. The staff and the regulars seem to take pride in the establishment's state. It's a decent spot to end a night of heavy drinking, but I'd recommend having your shots first and avoiding the food until everything gets a thorough cleaning.
