Sonny's Bbq - Winter Park

The ribs were stringy and dry like theyd sat for days. We r regulars so this is not usual. When u pay $22 for pick 2 combo and u have to throw out all the ribs not good. Too bad. I think Ill get my money back this was a shame

There are multiple Sonnys in the area; but this isnt one Id consider a "real pit BBQ"; its more of a "its really the PITS BBQ". 10-15 years ago this location was fairly good. Not any longer. Id really prefer being able to *select* which Sonnys I get my order from; basically *any* one but this one; rather than just the closest one. Have the same issue with the closest McDonalds; too. Even though 2 others are only about less than a mile more distant.

In 2004, hurricanes Charley, Ivan, Frances, and Jeanne hit Central Florida and we had no power for two weeks. BUT, Sonny's did and we ate lunch and dinner there for 2 weeks, to soak up the AC and have delicious food! We've been fans of Sonny's ever since! The food is consistently good, they change up their menu (which is amazing because some local restaurants don't even do that) and they are fast, and an easy place to eat! I always order turkey and I love the assortment of bbq sauces to choose from. The sweet potatoes are divine; always cooked perfectly! Don't overlook Sonny's when you want good bbq!

Laura always does a great job! Friendly service from entire staff and good food. New renovations are nice.

Saw their new item brisket Philly sandwich and decided to try. Wish someone had posted a review beforehand. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere if you must have a Philly cheesesteaks sandwich or just get the brisket sandwich. The chef cuts the brisket up into little cubes which were dry and taste like those fake meats. They would have gotten zero stars if their service weren't great. Ethan is a great server!
