Definitely not as fun and vibrant as it used to be. This location includes Japan go now. They painted every wall (and a fake ivy detail) in black so the overall feel is, well, dark. We walked in and 2 people seemed to have been served. We waited about 3 minutes before someone came in from outside to take our orders. I was confused by this because there were definitely people working in the back but no one bothered to even pop out and say they'd be out soon. Got a passion fruit slush drink. It was good. $5. They don't do POG anymore. Sad. Probably won't be back for Boba, though. There's at least 3 other spots in walking distance to here with better service. Might try Japan go but would take to go or eat outside of the black room.
The bathrooms are clean. However they don't take cash and often don't have whatever you ask for...including today... boba tea.Okay so you don't have the primary product your business sells... When I have tried to buy anything you didn't accept U.S. currency...How are you still even open ...When businesses are run like this I ask myself... Cartel? Money laundering... or is your family just so rich you can afford the lousy business model.Weird.
Popped in for a late night boba tea with the kids and it was a great experience. The gentleman at the counter was personable and helpful. He made all our drinks promptly and they tasted great.
Chewy Bobba is located in a strip mall on corner of University and Semoran in Winter Park. They have a great selection of Bobba tea and also offer an assortment of macarons. Credit card ONLY.
