Slowly. I ordered vegan taco trio and she forgot the pinto bean. (just aubergine. mushroom. cactus plus avocado /2 discs radiate. my man ordered brüssel sprout quesadilla from vegetarian menu, but asked it as a vegan (which will be advertised if possible still with cheese arrived. chips are advertised as non vegan and they advertised vegan chips on request. no chips available. it won't make it right.

Just had a wonderful vegan meal at this small but charming place. So many vegan options on an extensive menu (an entire page is labeled vegan! , but the many vegetarian selections can also easily be made vegan. I dined with a vegetarian who was equally happy with his vegetarian meal, an omnivore who loved her (non-veg food too. So it’s also a place that can make your dining companions happy. Win-win! I had the 3 taco combo — one eggplant, one mushroom one cactus. Yum! It was fun to try cactus for the first time. Reasonable prices, lovely wait staff. Can’t wait to travel through the area again so I can go back.

Right when walking in, ask for their vegetarian/vegan menu. You can customize ANYTHING and they are happy to do it. As a vegan, I order anything off this menu and remove dairy, very easy to do. Their dishes are large, full of veggies, are more authentic, and made from scratch. They have fusion items like bok choy, kale, and pineapple. Their margaritas must also have a house-made mix, very clean. You can ask for anything to be made with less or no-oil, they are extremely accommodating. Ate here when I first moved to Winston almost 2 yrs ago and wasn’t impressed...but after reading another HC review, I decided to give this place another try and so glad I did. As far as vegan Mexican options, I think this place has the best. Not the typical options of combos with flimsy bean burrito with no cheese enchiladas that you find at all of the Mexican spots here. This place has a very unique menu and is much healthy that other options. You can also tell this family ran business puts a lot of love into the food. I got the mushroom tacos made vegan (no cheese) and was very pleased. Yes I’ll be back again when I’m craving Mexican food. HELL YES!!!! And now they have an actual vegan menu!!!

They have alot of choices that you can make vegan very easily. Staff was knowledgeable about vegan items. Very impressed!
