Johnny B's Grillhouse - Winston Salem

The Johnny B's Grillhouse Experience Dine-in Edition). I googled breakfast, and Johnny B's Grillhouse appeared. From what I saw online, the breakfast food looked delicious! So once I arrived, I was sat and provided a menu. I flipped that menu back and forth, looking for the breakfast items. I had arrived at 12:45 pm Sunday, and the server told me breakfast was served between 8 am and 11 am. I was already in the restaurant; although I wanted breakfast, I kept seeing good-looking food pass by. So I ordered their fried zucchini, spinach dip, and the Sunday's chicken special with cabbage and garlic mashed potatoes with cornbread. While waiting for my food, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The bathroom did appear clean. Shortly after returning from the restroom, the appetizers came to the table. The fried zucchini was good. The spinach dip was ok but gave me good baby food vibes with melted cheese on top. Once the meal arrived, it smelled so good. I could smell the spices and herbs from the plate, and the food tasted divine. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service was ok while I was there, but I will be back to Johnny B's Grillhouse for dinner and to try their breakfast.

I was pleasantly surprised about this place.  The location was a little off putting as it was past the chaos of shops off Stratford Rd. Yet,  it was well worth it. The actually restaurant was very cute and the staff was friendly. The menu had something to offer everyone.  And,  they have daily specials that were very appetizing.  I went on Monday which has a 1-topper large pizza for $5.50. Now, it was a large PERSONAL pizza (see picture). Yet, it was the perfect size for a single somewhat hungry person. I would recommend this place if you are out shopping around Stratford or Hanes Mall.

Love this place! The food is always amazing and the wait staff has always been on point. The prices are fair and I highly recommend this place. You won?t be disappointed for sure!

Got the fish and chips and it is just ok. Not much flavor. It comes with fries which are fine, and onion straws that were just soggy. Our server was not very friendly. It was more like we were an inconvenience. Nothing I would go back for. I would compare them to a Cagney?s or Dukes, but price taste comparison, Cagney?s and Dukes would be better options.

I've been to Johnny B's a few times now. Each time the service was super friendly, the food was hot and tasty and I was more than pleased with the whole experience. Today, we ordered takeout. Our multi-meal order was hot and ready when picked up. And everything was correct. Update I decided to try the Loca Pizza. I am totally hooked! Absolutely delicious!
