Gilson Cafe Cinema - WINSTED

Took my wife here for a date night. Good atmosphere, Good service, and unique theatre. Definitely recommend checking out if you haven?t been here yet.

Super evening out! Enjoy a movie and meal before and during the movie. It' an enjoyable, special experience.

Venue is okay. Service is fine. The older seats are good for 30 minutes, not a 2 hour movie. The newer seats have sharp armrests where your wrists go. We do keep going back though. The town needs a place like this. The menu is old. They do havespecials. The rerun them a lot. One thing they really need to work on is the hard rolls for sandwiches. I swear they leavethem drying out for a few days before using them. Maybe it's because we go on Friday and they are left from the prior weekend. Sure seems it. I hope they read this and correct the chairs and the rolls, because we will go back. Start with the rolls. I'mtired of dry sandwiches made from stale buns that get crumbs all over me. My wife had a sandwich that was on a croissant. Itwas great.

I love this cute little theater! Food was delish and the service was great! Prices are really decent too! I recommend everyone go watch a movie and have dinner here!

First time here and had a great time. I enjoyed the whole experience more than the movie.
