Thai Express Winnipeg

So disappointed with my chicken pad Thai today. Whenever I come to Winnipeg I always make sure that I stop in and get some Thai Express. Today I did just that, with high expectations that I always have for fresh fast food from this company. My food was fresh and fast as it always is; however, something tasted strange about it. I don’t know if something was changed with the sauces, nonetheless it tasted strange and to top it off I didn’t get it in the super cute little it’s supposed to come in even though I could see the proper containers behind the cook. All in all I am very disappointed

I have been to this restaurant, many many times. I call them right before I go, the food is always ready when I get there. I have never had an order that has not been hot, fully cooked and correct to my no sprouts and no tofu. They never forget my side peanuts. Very friendly and smiley service every time. This restaurant NEVER gives me diarrhea.

I've eaten at Thai Express before, trying it for the first time at Polo Park. As usual, I chose chicken stirfry, spicy, and when I received it, I was surprised to find it rather bland tasting. A little ways through it I noticed the vegetables tasted...not that great. Having tried their food before, and liking it, I was surprised by the taste having had it yesterday, and wondering why on earth I ever would have ordered it again. I mean, I can't quite put my finger on it, but the flavour was just not good. I only gave it two stars due to the fact that I had to gag through every bite of vegetables, but I didn't want to give one star because I found the staff very efficient and friendly.

Avoid the salad roll, mostly lettuce and shrimp are cut in half. Falls apart as soon as you bite it. Staff is friendly so that’s why it’s two stars vs one.

Ginger fish stir fry was delicious, and medium spicy is just right.
