Sun Valley Restaurant - Winnipeg

I have been meaning to go here for a while. I tried their breakfast. For $7.50 I got 2 eggs bacon hash browns toast and coffee. Excellent value and the food was piping hot and tasted great. The service was courteous and prompt. They always made sure you had a full glass of coffee. Don't go for the decor. go for the food and try this place out! You won't regret.

Food is always fresh and homemade. The daily soups are do good and I highly recommend the Cream of perogy! Service with a smile.

Arguably some of the food here is prepared beforehand however their soups are always to die for and the portions are perfectly (if not under) priced. I've never had a bad meal here. The decor is very plain and it gives off a "truck stop" feel but the food is anything but. A++

We went here for breakfast. They have large size options and a smaller version for those who eat less. One in our party ordered a large breakfast and was only able to finish about one third of the corned beef hash dish. I tried the smaller breakfast which was a omelet with bacon sausage and ham and only got though half of it. The portions are large and the food good. Service was pleasant and efficient. There is plenty of parking and our meal was about $8 pp.

The first time here and in any case come back. great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. sells always 2 suppen for their lunch specialties, and today were specialties lasagna or meatloaf, both were very good in size and taste
