Piazza De Nardi - Winnipeg

We just had a very lovely 80th birthday party for my dad in the Tuscany Room. The whole evening was just fantastic, with very nice, fun, friendly staff. Food was top notch, with the most amazing charcuterie board! I would definitely recommend Piazza De Nardi for anyone wanting a most memorable get-together. Thank you De Nardi's!

This fantastic store has it all, wine and our local cider on the shelves let alone the tasty food options in the same building. WIN WIN WIN

I love going here and getting take out. Pork hocks and their potato salad is one of my favourites.

Deli, bake shop, wine shop, Italian grocery. What's not to love?!

Read the entire review, it started off poorly but it turned out great! Visited today Valentines Day) at noon. You’d think they’d be well staffed and have bakery well stocked. First visit, the seafood counter, clerk was rude and didn’t pack some ice chips with our purchase. He was not interested in being there. Next the bakery, 2 empty showcases, the bread racks had maybe 5 loaves of white bread and nothing else. Line for small pastries and cakes was at least 10 people long. Cash Desk, while waiting to pay we watched as a cashier asked the gentleman in front of us why he was standing there, duh, next in line. He put some product back, left his cart abandoned and said “I’m going somewhere else”. We paid for the one item we found and also left to shop elsewhere. Worst visit to this store, likely not returning. Update Feb. 16. To their credit a manager did reach out to us to discuss the issues we encountered. We had a very good discussion and believe that they were sincere in accepting our concerns and about what transpired. Anyone can have a bad day and as this was counter to our normal experiences at this store we will give it another go in the future. Only wish the customer experiencing the problem at the cash desk could have been part of this discussion. Update Feb. 17. After speaking with Dave he contacted us regarding our first visit) we decided to give the shop another try. Being a Saturday we expected it to be busy but this would be a good test. They passed with full marks. We started at the Cheese counter then the Deli and onto the Bakery. Each area was well staffed and we were promptly greeted and served in a pleasant manner. Our check out at the market was prompt and friendly also and we then decided to visit the Wine Store. The selection was broad and we managed to find a half dozen interesting wines to try. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. So all said, we now would gladly recommend the market and compliment the management and staff for their attentiveness.
