Nice rich hollandaise sauce and the eggs were cooked to order. I also love the generous heaping of home fries. Service is always welcoming and friendly which is extra special as they always seem to be busy, but make sure you are doing okay.
Ok, so this place is awesome. I feel like I stepped into the friendly dinner from the 80's. We ordered milkshakes, burgers, and poutines. The food came out super fast. I suggest any trucker going by to stop here, super fast meal.Milkshake was great, thick. Some places are super disappointing, but not this one.Burger, oh my god..... enough said.Poutine, it didn't hit for me. I think it was the gravy. It wasn't horrible, but compared to everything else, it wasn't there. Our waitress was phenomenal, the best service I've had in years! It was almost like she read our minds.
VERY RUDE MANAGER OR WHATEVER HER TITLE IS!!, The food was gross fries looked and tasted hours old, the bread was stale, my partners order was completely wrong asked for a plain bacon cheeseburger and got everything on it anyways, was refused a small take away bowl to give my service dog some water, cited it was against health regulations to have a dog in the restaurant in the first place the manager then stumbled over her words when she was told not a pet service dog, we left never going back do not go here if you want good food or service
We have been going to Nick's for more than 25 years. They are still family run. The service is always amazing, the food is always super yummy and reliable. You can't go wrong here.
It 's wonderful to see Nick 's daughter, Vicki still working here and being at the cash register managing everything.(someone told me it was a father daughter diner). The waitress we had was very nice and sweet. I ordered a Vicki 's club sandwich and what showed up was a ton of food but sadly mostly French fries. The French fries were not overly cooked which I liked. I love soft but slightly crunchy fries. The coleslaw was okay. The sandwich was tasty and filling but the portions were a tad bit small for the 18.50$ price. But I loved the delicious ingredients in the sandwich. Cranberry, cheese, bacon, turkey, tomatoes, and lettuce on a cinnamon raisin bread. Really creative and awesome idea for a club sandwich. It was very yummy!
