Moxie's Grill & Bar - Winnipeg

We were staying at Radisson and Moxie's was the closest restaurant.

Showed up Saturday evening at 6 and the place was almost empty which resulted in our server checking with us every 5 minutes making having a conversation

Great food, the cider on tap was amazing as was my husband's GT (they add a lime slush on top).

Another corporate chain restaurant so if you've been to one Moxie's, you pretty much been to them all. This location is our fall back for business lunches.Usually have the steak sandwich and house salad or the soup and sandwich lunch special. This last visit I had the cheese & broccoli soup and salad - decent tasting with no complaints. I have had most of the menu over the years and generally pleased with everything - that's why we come back with out of town guests - you pretty much know the deal and it rarely disappoints.We tend to gravitate here for lunch as the service is quick, the food is decent and the atmosphere is attractive in general. Like all corporate chains, it is overpriced and food would not be considered gourmet but it has a vibe to it that keeps us coming back.Good for business lunches and drinks after work. No real complaints and we'll be back.

Very nice decor but we need food and service to match. Just started eating our salads and our meals were brought out, bad timing. Got my $33.00 New York steak which was ordered medium came out well done and very tough. Got the next one and it was so rare and very tough as well. If you are going to charge Keg prices you shouldn't use a $7.99 steak sandwich cut of meat. I didn't want to send it back again, just decided never to order a steak there again.
