The menu offers a large variety of delicious options, but I usually order the avocado toast with crumbled bacon and goat cheese or Eggs Benedict. On my most recent visit I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine, and it was very tasty! As per usual, a generous portion size was served hot, and the server was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience as usual! As for the atmosphere, aesthetics are fine, but it is usually packed to capacity which can make for a rather loud dining experience. I’m willing to overlook that though because the quality of the food and service is so good!
I've been here twice and both times this place has been hopping! Today I ordered the bacon avocado skillet and it came steaming to my table. The egg...the egg...was poached to perfection! The waitress, Katarina I think her name was, was great: efficient, tracking with our order and friendly. There was a lot of food...including the tasty toast in the basket. Definitely the place to go for an all day breakfast.
I visited this restaurant for brunch with friends, and I was impressed by the omelettes and eggs benedict—they were quite tasty. It was quite busy for a weekend brunch.
My friend and I are regulars at B F on Kenaston and really enjoy dining there. However, today we were very disappointed with the service from our server. Mingi did not greet us or demonstrate any interest or enthusiasm when speaking with us. When I asked about substituting an item, he simply said “no” without offering any alternative options, and just stared at us. He also didn't check in on us after we received our food, which, as always, was excellent! We had to ask other servers for water refills because he neglected to attend to us. It was quite disappointing, as we usually leave this restaurant feeling well cared for.
The service was a bit slow, but there were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We arrived early, but it quickly got busy, with people waiting to be seated. The server apologized for the delay, but I assured her it wasn't her fault. I also tried the cappuccino, which was good; the cocoa powder on top was a lovely touch. Kid-friendliness: There were decent options for kids. Prices were around $8.
