Flavors Of Mexico - Winkler

Not very impressed by the sizes of the food. It definitely tastes authentic but wasn’t filling. Usually chips and salsa are set on the table free with dinner meals at other Mexican restaurants so disappointed by that. Will not return

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was not disappointed! I ordered the el pastor tacos and they were amazing. My husband had a burrito which was good, but not exceptional. The portion size was large, but the meat was a little salty and it could have used more sauce or melted cheese to enhance the flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

I had never been to this restaurant before, but love Mexican food, so was pleased when this location was suggested. Service was a bit on the slow side the food was really good. I ordered a steak fajita, which arrived at the table sizzling...hot. It was flavourful and colourful just the way I like my food. The lunch sized portion was very generous. I ordered Coke to drink, and received a can. That was fine until I realized they also serve glass bottle Coke I should have known!! Next time I will request the bottle of Coke. Our lunch took 1 hr 45 minutes, which is a bit too long for a typical business lunch. I would highly recommend this place, if you have a bit more time available.

Drove from Winnipeg to Winkler (about 90 minutes). We read several reviews and we were craving authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed. Our items were delicious and the owner (and his young son) were so very pleasant. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

My husband and I love going to Flavors of Mexico. The food is amazing - so authentic and fantastic flavor! We were pleased to find that all the ingredients are fresh and local, and the owners are so friendly! My favorite meal is the sizzling fajitas and I was quite excited when they added a shrimp option! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, with it's cultural flair and unique presence in a small town feel.
