Dropped in with my Dad for lunch, had a flight of three beer along with the nachos and a sausage/pretzel/sauerkraut. The beers were all terrific and so fresh. Food was delicious. If I lived here I'd go back all the time. Highly recommend you give...it a try. The proprietor was super friendly and helpful as well.
We visited this restaurant on St. Patrick's Day around noon. The staff was very friendly and they had 3 beers on tap- a stout, a lager, and a maple syrup ale. The stout and lager were decent, but the maple syrup ale was fantastic. It was served a bit too cold at first, but after letting it sit for 10-12 minutes, it was perfect. They also have a variety of beer-based cocktails, which my wife really enjoyed. The food menu is limited, but includes pizza which we tried and found to be surprisingly good and affordable. Overall, this is an interesting spot in Windsor that is worth checking out.
We went on St. Paddy's day. Headed in around noon. Staff was very friendly. They had 3 beers on tap- a stout, a lager, and a maple syrup ale. The stout and lager were fine-to-good, if a little unremarkable. The maple syrup ale was freaking great. They serve it a little too cold- after about 10-12 minutes of it sitting, it was perfect. They also offer a variety of beer-based cocktails. My wife had one (forget which) and really enjoyed it. They have a limited food menu, including pizza. We got a pizza. It was relatively cheap and was surprisingly good. All in all, interesting spot worth checking out in Windsor.
It's a small place, but the atmosphere is fun. They had 3 microbrows on **** a chocolat stout, a maple ale, and a porter, they were all mild and big. We took all three home. We had a Bacon cheese sprocket that was great like a Munchy. They had sandwiches and pizza on the menu. Small menu, but price right. The owner Dad was a big guy and let us try the beers before we bought them. We were there about 2 hours and had a great time to talk to all the staff who were there. Parking is on the side of the house above the road.
