The George On The Green

The food was good and the pub was clean the service was a bit slow but could see they were busy would go back again

Excellent filet steak, lamb and prawn starter was also delicious. great service, great drinks and great atmosphere.

Lovely pub with lovely staff who make you feel very welcome

Visited today on a recommendation from a friend …. What a lovely looking pub. We were greeted by smiley and courteous staff and everything felt right about this pub and restaurant. I had the fish cake stater, best I’ve ever had and my wife had the prawns …. best she’s ever had apparently, nice. The main course was the surf and turf, the steak which you cannot see in the photo as it’s hidden under the scampi, was succulent and very well cooked. What really impressed me was the salad served with the S T and my fish cake as this was a pleasant change to the limp, unimaginative salads so often served in less attentive establishments. We will be back with family and friends and I suggest you pay The George on the Green a visit, soon ….Mick Georgina from Chertsey, Surrey.

Plenty of choice on the food menu. Good quality food and choice of real ale. Very pleasant staff.
