Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Windsor

I arrived at the restaurant at 10:20 and was disappointed to find they had run out of breakfast items. I requested gravy for a leftover hash brown but never received it. I ordered a BBQ sandwich without slaw, yet it came with more slaw than BBQ. It was not the best way to start my morning. However, feedback from DQ has motivated me to give this location another chance.

Though we know these days Drive thru is one of the only options for us consumers, DQ seems to be doing pretty amazing at working us through the lines efficiently. The ordering process was easy enough, and the wait time was minimal. The staff member ringing us up was very friendly, and did a great job of getting us through the line and back on our way quickly.

Dairy Queens food is just like any other fast food place. Their ice cream and blizzards are soooooo good! for the most part the wait isn't bad. it's usually out within minutes. it comes out hot and tasty. I've had some bad experiences but afterwards they always make it up. Dairy Queen is also very family friendly. most of their places are decent sized and ready to serve you out and your family. I would definitely recommend going here if there's one near you.

I often have issues with my burger orders at this location, so I decided to play it safe and order the most basic burger possible, avoiding any special requests. I noticed the manager checking the order at the drive-thru window, which made me feel assured that everything would be correct. However, when I got home, I discovered that the burger was completely different from what I had ordered. There was no way for me to know this until I unwrapped it at home. Frustrated, I returned to the restaurant to request a refund, but the manager blamed the busy kitchen for the mix-up. It's disappointing that the kitchen can't even get the simplest orders right, and it's frustrating that the manager is quick to deflect the blame, especially when I had seen him perform a quality check.

I ordered the $5 mix and match while passing through Windsor, which included a chili dog and a soft drink. Unfortunately, the bread was stale and unpleasant. It felt like a waste of both time and money. I won't be stopping at this Dairy Queen on my next trip.
