フィードバックを提供するWe visited in the afternoon and enjoyed wine at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with reasonably priced drinks and meals. Overall, it was good value for money. It was pleasant to sit outside on a nice warm day.
Totally renovated to Cyclone Debbie and renamed Boaty's. New menu and Thai Chicken Salad and Lamb Rack tasted amazing. Nice location, friendly staff.
I was there last Monday and participated in the Ladyboys competition after drinking like three Jugs whisky ginger (a real consumption! It was really much fun and we had an unforgettable night down. Only... can recommend this bar!
My only problem with this place is that it was recommended by the sailing company as an after party. Encouraged to come at 7:00 and get a dinner and drink for $12, which is a lot. But they also said that we would get a...free drink at 9:00, but that didn't happen until 10, so we all waited for the drink, but if they were up front, we would have just ordered drinks while we were waiting... Just kill a buzz
I don't usually write reviews on Tripadvisor, but this time I felt compelled to. There was only one person taking orders and he was rushing around. While waiting, two plates fell to the floor as they were coming out of the kitchen, and I ended up getting pieces of one plate on my leg. The server almost spilled wine on us and when I paid with my card and asked for the receipt, it was already in the trash, so I didn't get one. Upon checking my bank account, I realized we didn't receive the offer for being on a boat that day. When I went back to ask about it, the server claimed I never mentioned it, even though it was the first thing I said. He did not apologize for his mistake and refused to give us a refund, insisting that I never mentioned the offer. The lack of apology and the implication that I was lying were the worst parts. I don't care how good the food is if I'm already upset before eating. As a bonus, while I was writing this review, I realized that the salmon I ordered without pineapple came covered in it. Overall, they need to slow down, listen to their customers, and learn to apologize.
