I can't even begin to describe the horror that unfolded at Eastern Chinese Restaurant. The Chinese food I had was a disgrace to all things culinary. The flavors were as ancient as the Great Wall, tasting like they had been stuck in a time warp since 2008. The Orange Chicken might as well have been a relic from the past, devoid of any semblance of freshness or flavor. The fried rice was a greasy mess, sticking together like it was superglued in the Ming Dynasty. And don't even get me started on the spring rolls they were a sad excuse for what should have been a delightful side dish. THERE WAS A BUG IN ONE OF THEM!! And how can you call it a spring roll anyway, if all it is, is CABBAGE?! It felt like I was chewing on regret and disappointment with every bite. I threw the food in the dumpster, and since then have been feeling like I have time traveled back to a culinary dark age. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this flavorless time machine masquerading as a Chinese restaurant.
I was very disappointed in the quality of food. Ordered Egg Foo Young General TSO Combination Fried rice and chicken wings. The rice they use is not long grain it was greasy and didn’t taste like rice the Fried rice had nothing but a few onions and little amount of carrots and peas no bamboo shoots the general tso had no red chili peppers and the sauce taste more like barbecue sauce the rice for it was the same short grain and greasy the chicken wings was cooked in old grease Wasted $74 on door dash. The worst Chinese Food I have ever had. Ive been eating Chinese Food for 50 years. They definitely need a new cook that knows how to prepare Chinese food I suggest go to another Chinese restaurant and compare It would speak volumes to you
The WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The rice was hard and tasted old. The chicken and broccoli was slimy and like gelatin. The eggrolls didn’t have anything in them barely. Only thing good was the Diet Coke!
Average at best. Service was good and entree portions are large, but that didn 't make up for quality of the food. It 's not bad but it 's not that good either. General Tso 's was more like orange chicken and not spicy at all I even specified extra hot and spicy when ordering) Hunan shrimp was 70% green pepper chunks never saw green pepper used in that dish before). Steamed dumplings were ok, but smallish and cold. Fried rice was very good. We have been trying different Chinese restaurants since our favorite place closed recently after 30+ years. We will keep looking.
