フィードバックを提供するHad buffet lunch here , lots of parking. Greeted on arrival, restaurant very clean and well laid out . Plenty of choice with pizza and salad , all readily available. Cashless and order with QR code at table , staff available to help if needed.
Disappointed We have used this Pizza Hut for a while and always had great service. My daughter is coeliac and her salad was always made separately out the back and the order taken and followed through by management. Today we were told that the salad is not able to be prepared out the back as apparently the cross contamination risk is the same….. Absolutely ridiculous. Clearly the management have little understanding of food preparation and cross contamination. This can be resolved easily with training. In a buffet, people move utensils, spill food all over the place and kids pick up food and move it around. I would hope that kitchen staff would be trained on cleaning utensils, chopping boards and prepping food in a hygienic manner. If they are incapable of doing this then there is clearly an issue with staffing- which wasn’t her before. Pizza Hut- the restaurant was empty. The restaurants in the same complex were full and turning customers away- maybe you need to reflect on why.
Just had a family Birthday) meal here and the service and food were fantastic, Sians the manager) gave us fantastic service and helped us with the ordering via the app, thanks to our wonderful service we will definitely be returning.
We were greeted (not welcomed) and taken to our table. We were told to use the mobile qr code on the table. Spent 25 minutes trying to get the order into the mobile site. 2 adults and 3 kids (11, 9 9). Did not have any drinks offered until we had made the order. All that time we were trying to get the order done rather than talking with the kids. It was essentially worse than ordering at a McD’s order screen. To be fair, once ordered, the drinks did arrive relatively promptly… although this was more than 30 minutes after being seated. Other than being seated, drinks and food served, and then plates cleared, we had no interaction with any of the staff. What is wrong with places like this? It’s like the old COVID controls still in place but they are just too lazy to change back and get the staff interacting with customers again. It might as well be a vending machine with tables. For that level of non-service, £99.92 it’s massively over priced for the food we had. We’ll be going to the local Italian restaurant for better service and better value for money.
Forgot it is half term, but thankfully it wasn't too busy. Neither of us had ever had a melt before, so thought why not, let's try it. I have to admit, it wasn't quite what I expected, it was very tasty but in future I'll stick with a pizza. Great deal for £13.99 chicken melt, chips, salad, refillable drink and ice cream. There was a lot, admittedly didn't eat it all and never even got ice cream. Waitress was very cheerful and friendly. I would recommend.
