Scoops Ice Cream Candy Shop - Wilton

Had an awesome chocolate raspberry. They sell candy as well. Glad I stopped in. Would go back for sure.

Scoops is a classic ice cream shop with penny candy selection. Delicious creamy Connecticut made ice cream. It’s a Wilton gem!

Scoops is the definition of a hidden gem. I would've never discovered it if our neighbors didn't give us a gift certificate to this place. It's now my favorite ice cream shop of all time! I always get a scoop of strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone. Simple, but perfect. The strawberry ice cream is super creamy with chunks of strawberries. Every time we come here I think I should try something different, but I can't cheat on the delicious strawberry. Maybe one day.

While the shop is nostalgic for some, I’m never quite sure about where ingredients are sourced. The ice cream will satisfy, but the place is certainly not “next level” compared to other ice cream shops.

The restaurant may be closed, as it has never been open during the scheduled business hours. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the candy selection.
