CAU Wilmslow

Cau is a small chain of Argentine restaurants and steakhouses with 18 branches, including one in Amsterdam, with the rest located in the UK.

We have not been to Cau as a family before and it is perhaps better suited to later evening dining than early 6pm dinner. The air con was arctic, the music so loud we couldn’t really have a conversation and although the main courses were nice, there was a long wait between courses. The churros usually my favourite thing were disappointing: lukewarm and tasteless. I will go back to Cau but will stick to adult dinner time or brunch for the family.

Wonderful evening at CAU Wilmslow, served by the lovely Jake and Emma who couldn’t have done enough for us! Food was fantastic and service was amazing! We normally dine at the Didsbury branch but this occasion blew it out of the water! Lovely night! Thank you guys!

Very disappointing. We have dined here many times and standards have dropped dramatically i.e No sweet potato . Chunky chips not properly cooked. Desert pancakes very rubbery and obviously not prepared fresh. Steaks were very good Previously very good but will not return unless I hear things have improved
