Evelyn's Soul Food - Wilmington

I had a co-worker pick me up two orders of cake and OMG my mouth is still watering the best cake slices I had in a while, very moist and yummy!!

I ordered a platter of fish, grits, and eggs with home fries from DoorDash. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The grits were not seasoned, as I expected since everyone prepares them differently. My order arrived hot, and they really know how to do breakfast right at a great price.

Food was trash I literally could not eat it. No flavor and greasy as hell. The collard greens was straight disrespectful. This place used to be good when it first opened idk what happend but never again.Food: 1/5

Odd place with a really old-fashioned interior, I'm not really sure it is clean enough. Food was bland and tasteless, chicken was supposed to be better but it was so greasy and there were no seasoning at all! Everything tasted like it was frozen for ages and than microwaved.

Great prices especially the daily specials fish sandwich, soda and chips for $5! Food was delicious, vibes were so cute like eating at home, and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
