Chicky's Pizza Pub - Wilmington

I will never go back to Chicky's! I called at 9:15 last night to inquire about their buy one get one pizza special, and I was told it was dine-in only. I wanted to do takeout, so I asked when they closed, and she replied at 10. Since I live just five minutes away, I headed over and arrived right at 9:30. To my surprise, the same girl informed me that they were closing in 15 minutes and that the kitchen was already closed. Why didn’t she mention that on the phone? It felt like a complete waste of time. When I asked her about it, she just walked away as if I hadn’t spoken to her. The lack of customer service was appalling, which is why I'm writing this review. You shouldn't advertise that you close at 10 if you're really shutting down at 9:30!

A good selection of beers to go with a variety of wings. This is my first visit and the menu is not your boring bar bites and I am notorious with the baked onion rings. My only disappointment was that Melissa wouldn't tell me why the onion rings are so good. I guess I have to go back for the great service and enjoy the onions.

This restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves to be much more popular. The pizza here is outstanding, starting with a crust that perfectly balances delicacy and crispness. The toppings are non-traditional, with no Margherita option or Ricotta cheese available. We visited on a Tuesday night, which was a fantastic deal: two medium pizzas for the price of one. We tried the Thai chicken pizza, which was delicious, and a make-your-own with mushrooms, mozzarella, and caramelized onions that was equally tasty. With discounted movies available on the street, this is a perfect spot for dinner before a great date night. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is small, but the service is excellent and the food is delicious. It definitely feels like a local bar catering to the community. Much like the show "Cheers," it's always bustling with regulars. It's a great spot to stop by if you're shopping in the area and want to experience the local charm of Wilmington.

Great place Great food! Personal pizza, great wings, soups and salads. Reasonably priced. We stop there every time we are in Wilmington.
