フィードバックを提供するThe greeting, ordering, and service all take far too long. The waitstaff rarely check in to see if the food is satisfactory or if you need anything, and they often come off as a bit rude. I ordered a salad with the dressing on the side, but it arrived completely soaked in dressing. To make matters worse, they then charged me for a side of dressing. Extremely frustrating.
Now, let’s be real—this is Williston, ND. The town is quite busy, and the service standards have definitely taken a hit; that’s just the reality. The staff may not be at their best during dinner hours, especially as the night progresses, but can you really blame them for dealing with a crowd of rowdy oilfield workers? (I can say this because I’m part of that crowd!) As for the food, it's decent—probably the best value in town, to be honest. I really enjoyed the pizza, and wing night on Wednesdays was always a great deal. They have a solid beer selection, and at some point between 2010 and 2012, they even tapped Shiner—super exciting! Don’t forget to try the local brews from Beaver Creek Brewery in Wibaux, MT. There is a smoking section as well, which tends to be where the party is, so if you want to join in on the fun, be prepared for some smoke. Just a heads up—there will be plenty of rowdy oilfield types around, but that’s just the norm in Willy town!
THIEVES. I used to go here for trivia until I got tired of having to flag down the waitress for another drink. Always been amateur food and poor customer service. We ordered Door Dash from J Dub 's tonight and instead of getting the Hand Cut 16 oz ribeye with a Ceaser Salad that I ordered I received a tough 12 oz Cajun Ribeye with NO salad. When I called I was put on the phone with a very non-sympathetic and disrespectful staff member. She said, well what do you want us to do about it? You are giving me hell for a ceaser salad? with a teenager like attitude. I replied, Okay this is the worst customer service I 've ever experienced and asked to speak to the manager. She then said, actually I am the manager in the sassiest way possible. What a joke! As a supervisor myself I 'm shook she would talk to a customer like that or resort to foul language. She blamed Door Dash for my order not being correct (even though they made the food and gave it to him to give to me) and said if I wanted my money back we would have to come pick it up. She never apologized for anything or owned up to the mistake they made. We will never give them business again or recommend them. The best part about it was when she said, You guys ordered steaks the other day and no one ever came to pick them up and I had no idea what she was talking about because I 've never ordered from them before via door dash. No doubt she only cares about her job title, not the customers. She was sadly mistaken if she thought I was just going to let it go and let someone treat me like garbage. Door Dash gave us an $18 coupon towards our next order but we certainly won 't be ordering from here ever again. Stay away unless you want to be degraded or robbed. Good riddance J Dub 's.
Very chill and clean atmosphere, great variety, and the waitresses are usually friendly.
So, maybe I've had to lower my standards because we are talking about Williston, but thus far, I've not found better meals or service in Williston. The food has been decent and the service has thus far always been good. The bartender remembered our drinks a week after we were in the first time (and we only had a couple). The oil boom has indeed made customer service rare in Williston... but no complaints here.
