Squires Loft - Williamstown

The cellar atmosphere is great although the lights were a little bright and the big steel staircase entry is a bit of a contrast. Great menu selections and our food was really good. Steaks done to perfection. However the service let the experience down because we were left waiting a bit too long, especially for the wine. And the waiters were a bit too casual. So food 4 out of 5 and service 2 out of 5.

Had a great dinner with colleagues and business partners. All ate steak and had a beer. Ambiente was fine and the food were quite good but unfortunately in the past I had some better steaks.

Lovely ambience within the bluestone cellar. Great steak, I had the eye fillet, superb flavour and perfectly cooked. Very attentive service, additional vegetables and onions, the onions were really good. We will be back again. The only problem is the double sitting

Lovely dinner tonight last one in Melbourne for awhile I had the ribs nice and tender hubby had the porterhouse cooked nice and rare the flavor was of grain feed beef service was excellent but the did forget the entre ????

End of project lunch for 15 was well received. Wait staff knew the menu, knew the drinks. Even those that they hadn't had themselves they had spoken to the reps and could make recommendations.Food was delivered in unison which meant no-one was waiting and the steaks were all cooked as ordered. Some of these were monsters so the chef/s knew their stuff when getting the tenderness right. I had pork spare ribs and immediately regretted only getting 2 (it was lunch after all so I reasoned with myself). Delicious. Cooked well, nicely sat. Could have taken a touch more marinade but still some of the best I've had in a while. Slightly exy compared with some other places, so won't be an always but well worth a visit.
