Racks Pub Grill - Williamstown

The restaurant is not cleaning their glassware properly. They are using pink hand soap without rinsing the glasses, then quickly dipping them into a cold sanitizer solution and stacking them before they dry. It's extremely unsanitary. I plan to file a report with the NJ Department of Health. I want to clarify that I’m referring to the 3-compartment Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize sink—not the glassware dishwasher. There was no water in the rinse section, and the glasses were washed with pink hand soap. I have video and photos to support my claims.

Our server was fantastic! She didn’t hurry us out after the DJ finished at 9. The manager was also wonderful—so friendly and attentive, making sure everyone’s questions were answered. She handled everything smoothly and effortlessly. I can't recall their names, but we really enjoyed the amazing DJ, Pepper Paul. The atmosphere was fun, and there were plenty of sports screens to watch.

This is a lovely bar that frequently hosts events like car shows. The staff is excellent, and the menu offers great options. However, I had an issue when it came time to pay; they couldn't process my card or my phone payment, so I had to pay in cash. That raised some concerns for me.

I decided to try out Rack 's because my late night bar spot already had last call. As I pulled into the parking lot, I had to weave between police SUVs to park since there were police in the process of arresting a rowdy customer. After I parked, I had to force my way through the crowd that was watching the arrest whilst hearing the man yelling profanities at the officers. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly, and made light humor of the situation to keep the mood light. The bar was another story. I spent some time staring at the empty seats with drinks in front of them, feeling unsure if they were taken or empty. After searching for a minute I was able to find an open seat with nothing placed in front of it. It was next to some kind of slurpee machine, and I 'm not sure if it obscured me or what, but the bar tender did not seem to want to serve me. I 'm an introvert, and I prefer not to yell across a room to get somebody to wait on me when it 's their job. While I was trying to be polite and wait for him to come over to me, I saw him approach a couple who had just walked in and tend to them immediately. It wasn 't until I called out that I was helped, and I had to continue to call out for anything else I needed (including the check . I still tipped him well. On top of that, the prices were fairly high and the drinks felt weak. I spent twice as much as I usually do (two beers and one of their fish bowls and felt sober upon leaving. Other guests seemed intoxicated though. The other customers when I visited were a mix of 20-somethings to maybe-40s; a middle age crowd. I would give them a 1, but the few staff members I joked with were cool

Best chicken Parm, potstickers and cheese steak egg rolls in Jersey. Our waiter Gigi was really friendly. We were honestly super impressed thinking we were just getting bar food... It was phenomenal.
