Ellie's Country Kitchen - WILLIAMSTON

As soon as we sat down, a lovely waitress welcomed us with warmth and smiles, making us feel like old friends. The menu features all home-cooked meals. One of us ordered the patty melt, which was outstanding and served on homemade bread. Another chose the chicken dish, which was also delicious. The third had the country burger, loaded with onions and mushrooms, and exclaimed that it was the best restaurant burger they had ever had. Being gluten-free, I was particularly grateful for the attention our waitress gave me in guiding my choices. I decided on the taco salad. The waitress later informed me that while the chips were homemade, they did contain some flour, but they didn’t add much to the salad itself. It was excellent, by the way, and I highly recommend it. Overall, I would rate this restaurant five stars due to the friendly service and great food, not to mention the reasonable prices. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

The wait staff is amazing, every time I have been there. The coffee is excellent. Breakfast is always great. The fried chicken is a wonderful treat also. Thank you Ellie's.

Outstanding food, service, and people. Owner is also an all day hard worker. One of the best restaurants in Williamston.

We were warmly welcomed by the adorable 8-year-old Aubrey, who served our drinks with a bright smile (she definitely earned her tip!). Before diving into our meal of steak, eggs, American fries, raisin toast, and delicious homemade jam with coffee, we couldn't resist bringing home a jar of their sugar-free strawberry rhubarb preserves!

The food and the staff are always amazing! I usually get the large version of Ellie’s Favorite Country Hash, topped with an order of Corn Beef Hash, and two over-easy eggs on top. It's a meal you won't forget!
