Place was outdated and the worst seafood I have ever had I could make better in a microwave Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
I knew I should have never gone there. Three of us ordered All You Can Eat shrimp. You select three different items from the shrimp menu. We all ordered Shrimp Alfredo as one or two of our 3 selections. The pasta for all of us was so overcooked it had the consistency of mashed potatoes, you could stand your fork in it. It looked like mashed potatoes, terribly overcooked. It didn’t even resemble noodles. You couldn’t even twirl it in your fork, it was mush, like paper mache. We accepted a partial replacement of deep fried shrimp, and then we got the bill, which was not corrected to reflect the lower price replacement. They charged us the full price of the original order. This was after slipping the waiter $10 before the bill was brought to us just because we didn’t want to take it out in him, he’s not the cook, and we didn’t want him to split his entire tip with the others. He gladly took the extra $10 and then brought us a full bill for the original dinner. Well, we gave him less on that tip rather than complain about the bill. We’ll never eat there again, never. Incredibly poor quality food, zero attempt to adjust the bill, even when we got less and slipped him some extra cash for himself. Flat out overcharged. We could have thrown a fit a made a scene, but I choose to just warn others, give an honest review, and eat elsewhere. They did offer to replace the food with other selections but we lost our appetite at that point and had replaced only part of the order with the fried shrimp item, which should have cost less. I’m not going to wreck everyone else’s night that’s eating and complain out loud. They need to teach their cooks that if it’s not right, don’t serve it. People would rather wait a few more minutes for quality. Teach their waiter to properly charge, especially when there was a legitimate problem. The manager needs to take control and ensure her staff is handling things correctly.
