There is a lot to see including filled animals, and an endless procession of dollars bills signed by travelers who have stopped by. If you drive to the Grand Canyon South, make a point to stop from Williams and drink at the Sultana.
A great place! Very friendly people, nice music, good food and drink. I'd go every day if it's not 10,000 km home.
A old fashioned bar with the oldest liquor license in the state of Arizona. The bar is nestled in the charming town of Williams Arizona. I enjoyed myself there. Also connected to the bar is a restaurant called The little chicken spot and the food was very good and they served us in the bar. When the little chicken spot closes about 6 pm the bar uses the kitchen to cook their bar food at night.
This bar definitely surprised me and my group of friends with its live country music and its lively crowd. If I had to describe the place, I'd say it had mostly conservative Caucasian folks who loves to have a good time and which will definitely include you in it, in a good and friendly way. For example, 10 minutes into our visit a legendary and upbeat man by the name Steven comes up to us and invites us to dance. After dancing and getting to know the guy, he disappears to only come back with a stack of custom designed t-shirts with the bar's brand on them, all for us, and the funny part was that he didn't even work there. He was a regular customer. After that, couple more guys join our conversation, we have get another round of drinks, play darts, and all have a good time, together. What a night full of great memories.
Want a taste of history with your libations? This is the place. From pre-prohibition opium to prohibition era tunnels this is one of the coolest places to wet your pallet. Great service and great ambiance. Take a load off and enjoy!
