Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Not like it use to be, service was super slow, had to ask for napkins, so many changes to the menu. Highly disappointed in this location. Everything including the floors of restaurant and the bathrooms as well was so filthy. Never going to return to the Wilkes-Barre location. This use to be our go to spot. Today we realized too many changes for the worst.

Mhew! I've only been to this franchise once before and I don't remember the experience and my visit here confirmed why I didn't remember the experience, it's not memorable. I ordered my classic burger and fries, nothing complicated. Burger was ok and small amount of fries I got was dismal but tasty. The best part of the experience was the cute nick knack store these places have attached to them and the waitress assigned to my table. Otherwise even the corn bread was bland, nothing like authentic southern cuisine. If you can't offer corn bread like they make it down south then you have no business offering crappy corn bread. Butter biscuits they provide with cornbread was better than the cornbread.

It is an amazing place to shop at! to eat it too! Their clearance sale area is great to shop in! Our meals were 50-50!, mine was very good! my wife's not so good! (Which is unusual! . I would definitely recommend it for a place to stop at if you are out on the road and need a place to stop at for a much needed break!

Two adults ate at this Cracker Barrel on a Monday afternoon after the lunchtime rush. Thoroughly unimpressed. The food was good as usual at a Cracker Barrel but the service left a bit to be desired. First had to find the server, then had to ask the server for a refill of our coffee and (very very weak ice tea (not worth $2.99! . Also had to ask for the biscuits that were supposed to come with the meal. The Men’s restroom was definitely not up to cleanliness standards. All-in-all we won’t be back to this particular Cracker Barrel again.

As always, the food was fantastic. However, this time we had a young waitress named Kyleigh who was outstanding! She was very friendly and made sure our glasses were always full. Her service was truly refreshing!
