Stewart's Root Beer - Wildwood

Attention! I dined here on a Saturday in July. The upstairs area was quite busy, although there were a few open tables. The service was prompt, and the food was average. Our group ordered chicken finger baskets, a pack of hot dogs, and four sodas, totaling $68 for four people, including a 20% tip. The food was nothing special—just what you would expect from a fast-food joint. We paid $12 for a generous portion of fries, coleslaw, and five small to medium chicken fingers. While the prices weren't great, it is to be expected at the beach. On the bright side, the view of the beach from our seats was fantastic. If I were to eat at the beach again, I would choose this place for the view and reasonable beach prices. However, I found the orange and cream soda to be overly sweet.

The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the food was enjoyable. I will definitely return!

Basic Burger offers a variety of burgers, shakes, and fries, catering to different tastes. Their menu also includes healthier options like wraps and salads. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we were pleased with the quality and flavor. The upstairs outdoor deck provides a lovely view of the beach and boardwalk, though it can get a bit windy at times. They also have seating right on the beach. I tried the Mac and Cheese Burger, which was tasty, though not particularly unique. The children's mac and cheese was a bit messy for a 3-year-old, but he devoured the melted sharp cheddar on the shell noodles. The root beer float was exactly as you'd expect—not much you can do wrong there. The service was incredibly fast, likely because we visited at 4 PM on a Monday when there were only two tables occupied.

Good food. Appropriate prices. Great view.
