Novel - Wiesmoor

I had dinner with the company and I have to honestly say that I was really disappointed. We had booked a reservation for 13 people at 6 p.m. and at first everything was fine. Shortly after we sat down, everyone's order (drink, starter and main course) was taken. We got the drink 10 minutes later, but for the starter (starter platter was good) we had to wait until 7:15 p.m., a good hour. The reason for the 1 rating was that the main course had to wait until 9:05 p.m., almost 3 hours after the order was placed. In addition, my colleagues' chicken was raw from the inside. I and a few colleagues had rump steak that tasted ok but was impossible to eat. It was so tough and full of gristle that you didn't feel like eating anymore. The service was friendly, but there was no information, for example, that it might take longer until our food was ready. Furthermore, we didn't ask ourselves whether we wanted something to drink and the dishes from the starter and main course were partly cleared away and partly left on the table. Conclusion: Service friendly but not good, very long waiting times for several people, rough hands and the rump steak is very difficult to eat.

Ich wollte es hier schon immer mal ausprobieren. Die Speisekarte ist schlicht gehalten, was deutlich macht, dass alle Zutaten frisch sind. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat uns mehr als zufrieden gestellt, und das Ambiente mit der grünen Pflanzenwand ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Für mich ist es das beste Restaurant in Wiesmoor!

Thank you for the lovely Christmas party. Food and drinks were perfect. The service was very courteous and attentive. What we all really liked was the Christmas atmosphere in the restaurant. Absolutely beautiful and lovingly decorated. Thanks for the great evening

Spent our evening at Novel with friends today. Definitely worth another visit for us. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Since we like drinking wine, this place is excellent for us. Nice wine list with good wines. We would like to thank the two ladies in service again, everything was great. We'd love to come back.

We were there for the first time today with colleagues. And first of all: definitely not for the last time. We have rarely eaten so deliciously and well. My rump steak was cooked to perfection, the side dishes were to die for. Price performance is absolutely okay, and the portions are more than generous. Very attentive and extremely nice service. A culinary star in East Frisia. Thank you very much, we will come back soon.
