Residenz Cafe Restaurant - Wien

The cafe residenz is located in the castle beautifulbrunn, they make here live demos of the strudel production, which I unfortunately missed. ordered her famous apfelstrudel with vanilla cream and did not expect it to swim in it. sure an overkill, but fortunately it is not sweet. So it's okay. the string paste rice is also creamier than Filo-Puff-Pastry, I like this version better. had also a hot chord, causing the weather demanded it. service was friendly.

While on our trip in Schonbrunn area, we stopped here for a light lunch and were pleases with their meals options and prices. Service was prompt and polite. I would recommend the place.

A welcome stop off after booking tickets for the tour of the Palace. We had to wait for over an hour so thought we would have coffee and a snack. The café has very welcome shaded outdoor seating as well as the beautiful indoor restaurant. We had coffee and Viennese iced coffee which was lovely as well as a delicious appelstrudel and a mango mousse cake which was light as a feather and delicious. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Well worth a visit if you are going in to see the Palace or the gardens..

I've been to many museum restaurants over the years and the food is usually mediocre. We found the food here was excellent. I had the Hapsburger and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Properly prepared at medium rare. Many people had a salad and they were also very pleased. The sausage also got high ratings.The Staff was very accommodating to special orders and requests. Prices were probably a little higher than you would pay at other restaurants in the city. But I'm sure the food was as good if not better.

The location is great, it is just inside of the summer palace gates and you have the option of sitting outside and enjoying the view. We had a very nice server who spoke English quite well. The apple strudels were warm and fresh and simply delicious. Would highly recommend.
