Very nice restaurant. great atmosphere, ideal for a beautiful evening to two! service was excellent and enjoy it! we sat in the ground floor, the restaurant, moreover there is in the first floor a welcoming lounge with the possibility to smoke. also a club in the cellar, but I can't say anything about it! but destined to visit.

After 6 weeks touring several countries in Europe, we decided on this outdoor seating restaurant for our final evening meal.We certainly chose very well, and then were very fortunate with our outstanding server, Natalie, a trainee. More on that later.Medusa is a beautiful restaurant and Bar. It sits just off the main shopping street, Karntner Strabe on Marco d'Aviano. There are many very comfortable seats under awnings and umbrellas, for protection against the hot sun, or rain.I had a large Aperol spritzer, which basically is white wine, club soda, and aperol. It came in a large wine glass with lots of ice. I also had linguini and pesto - fabulous. It had basil, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese..mmmmmMy wife ordered the lasagna, which was delivered in a fairly large deep container. I couldn't help myself and had come - tasty! Maybe more tasty than my pesto dish.The interior of the restaurant also features a fabulous modern bar setting - see my picturesThe part I liked the most was the quality of the service. It made a special evening even better. Natalie, it turns out, is a Trainee. She was also a breath of fresh air from the normal efficient, yet serious attitudes of most restaurant other restaurant service staff. While I enjoy the efficiency, a traveler still needs a smile and a greeting to start a meal. It is so important. We are weary and worn down from the miles, trains, planes, many hotel rooms, and my regular pillow. We need excellent service, but also a "welcome to my restaurant" attitude. A successful business is built on someone like me wanting to come back, and telling my friends to "go there".Natalie took care of our needs with professionalism, and yet also real warmth. She left us alone when we needed privacy, and still was there when needed. thank you - we will be back again because of you.I would recommend this restaurant to others for lunch or dinner, or just a rest from walking.I hope this review has been helpful to you in your travel planningSafe travels!Bobby W

Normally when I visit a restaurant I order beef. Therefore I also did it this time. This dish is the best I've ever ate. The beef was perfect and the side dish was delicious. Next to this, the crew was very polite. Our main servant was Milan who advised me very good about the wine. Again, the best restaurant, a must-visit when you are going to Vienna.
